I am Mohit

 

Curious by nature, inspired by history, and driven by the joy of discovery. From a maker to a leader, I have been many things in my career arc.

 

While working in various design domains over the last seventeen years, I have cultivated the skills to organize complexity and convert insights into opportunities. Through my diverse experience of designing across physical and digital spaces, I have attained a deep understanding of people, culture, values, and nuances. In my current role, as the Chief Design Officer at Software AG, I am leading a global and diverse team of designers and design leaders.

For me, design is about being responsible and respectful, not just with your users but also with the people that surround you during the creative process. It is about taking everyone with you by building relationships, having sensitivity, charisma, and sophisticated emotional understanding.

In addition to design, I am also curious about the ideas of ‘slow living’ and ‘wellness through ancient wisdom’. Through my personal life project, I am exploring a connection between design and mindfulness practices, the aim of which is to discover tools to amplify the ability to be present; gain insights and reveal the power of simplicity.
